701S Low Side Float Valve

The 701S low side piston type valves are operated by a pilot float valve. The 701 valve meters the flow of liquid refrigerant to the evaporator, or pressure vessel, in response to the liquid level requirements. The combination of valves results in a modulating type of control. The 701 valves are flanged, with manual lifting stem and seal cap, and may be supplied with a mating strainer. The metering plug and spring are selected for the operating conditions. A welded chamber is standard, equipped with a Phillips® Level Eye® for visual indication of the liquid level. An adjustable level pilot float valve may be used, depending upon the application. The 701S Series can also be piloted by an internal mounting fixed level float valve such as a 300 series valve.
